Have you ever considered this:
God is all-powerful. He can do whatever He wants all by Himself (Psalm 115:3). Yet He chooses to work through and with us, as flawed as we are.
God is all-knowing. His understanding is infinite (Psalm 147:5). He knows exactly what it would take to accomplish His will in an instant. Yet He chooses to work though our slow and often stumbling efforts.
God is everywhere (Psalm 139:8). No secret thing is hidden from Him (Psalm 90:8). He could judge our sins the instant they happen. But instead He extends to us mercy and grace we do not deserve (Ephesians 2:8).
And God is in every time period all at once. He knows the ending from the beginning because He is present and sovereign over both at the exact same instant (Isaiah 46:10). And yet you have His complete attention for every moment of your life (Psalm 119:168).
There are many ways to describe a God like that – Awesome, Glorious, Holy, Powerful. But perhaps the best description of all is simply: Love!
