ROSARIO, Argentina, Nov. 24, 2025 /Christian Newswire/ — On the 25th anniversary of Palau’s first-ever Latin festival, Palau returned to Rosario, Argentina, at the invitation of 279 local churches for a week of intentional outreach and ministry reaching every sector of society. This effort was known as Festival Palau: Rosario-Santa Fe 2025.
This partnership brought together hundreds of local believers to serve their city and share the life-changing message of hope found in Jesus Christ. Throughout the weeklong campaign, more than 331,350 people were reached in person through a variety of outreach efforts, culminating in a vibrant, family-friendly festival. In total, 11,755 individuals indicated a personal decision to follow Jesus throughout the week.
The campaign, led by evangelists Andrew and Wendy Palau, included multiple gatherings and outreaches leading up to the main event, reaching business and civic leaders, women, police officers, police cadets, students, incarcerated individuals, and more. These key outreaches—with multiple Gospel moments taking place each day—paved the way for the festival weekend, where the Good News was clearly shared from the main stage at the National Flag Monument.
The National Flag Monument became the heart of the celebration for two consecutive days, as thousands of people participated in Festival Palau. The events on Friday and Saturday combined music, community service, and a message of faith centered on Jesus, in an atmosphere of joy, unity, and hope.
In addition to a dynamic musical lineup, the weekend featured a lively children’s festival with games, inflatables, clowns, and theatrical performances with messages centered on the Word of God. A health fair was held on Saturday, offering a multitude of free services to bless the region, including primary medical care, psychological and legal counseling, blood donation, hairdressing, and beauty services. Both nights of the festival led to Andrew sharing the Good News and challenging everyone in the crowd to respond to the invitation.
In his message, Andrew spoke about the freedom and peace that Christ offers. He recalled the festival held by Palau in 2000, and affirmed, “Rosario will be known as the city of peace, and the whole world will see it.” He shared his personal testimony of conversion and encouraged those present to reflect on their own faith.
The mayor of Rosario, Pablo Javkin, and the governor of Santa Fe, Maximiliano Pullaro, also participated in the event. Javkin expressed his gratitude “for filling this place with peace and love” and recalled the city’s efforts to restore peace. Pullaro acknowledged the work of the churches and asked everyone to “take the Word of Jesus to every home.”
The spiritual closing came with a message from Andrew, who recounted how God protected him and his family during a plane crash in Jamaica, inviting those present to surrender their lives to Christ. Thousands of people prayed, deeply moved, accompanied by Festival Friends—trained believers who, in the moment, walk alongside those who respond to the Good News, praying with them.
In the final minutes, Pastor Pablo Silvestri closed the event with words of gratitude: “It has been so wonderful to be in God’s presence all this time. Thank you to Andrew and Wendy Palau, and to the more than 200 churches that joined us.”
Amidst lights, songs, and prayers, Festival Palau concluded. “The Festival ends today, but the work of God does not end. Glorious days are coming for Rosario,” said Silvestri.
As local leaders continue this long-term work of discipleship, follow-up, and evangelism, the Palau team looks ahead to similar outreach campaigns in cities around the world, including upcoming festivals in Barcelona, Spain; Zagreb, Croatia; Kumasi, Ghana; San Salvador, El Salvador; and more.
