Newspaper

The Believer’s Byline has grown out of multiple journalistic projects prepared by Thrive Christian Press over the years. These have included our blogs His from Page One and Believer’s Life, as well as our print newspaper The Missions Monitor. However, no matter the medium, each of these publications have had the same goal – to bring glory to the Lord Jesus Christ. Whether this is through the faithful teaching of His word or through sharing the stories of His saints, we have endeavored to be faithful to that mission. Today, each of our stories can be read here in digital form on ThriveChristianBelievers.com. Even so, we can’t forget the time honored art of the newspaper and hope to continue to publish in that format.

Here, readers far and wide can access flipbooks of our newspaper. Feel free to print and share our newspapers as you see fit, but please bear the following in mind:

1. The masthead of each edition has been updated to the title The Believer’s Byline to match the current name of the publication, even though the original title was The Missions Monitor. The first printed edition of The Believer’s Byline is the Winter 2022 edition.

2. Any coupons, promotions, or sponsorship opportunities cited in papers published before 2022 have been discontinued. Please do not seek out these opportunities.

3. Any third party puzzles or comic strips have been used by permission. The copyrights of these novelties belong to their original creators and should not be reused without seeking the appropriate permissions from their originators.

4. Though you may freely print and distribute our newspaper, the copyright of each article remains the property its author and should only be redistributed digitally with permission.

5. Freelance reporters published in our paper maintain the copyrights of their works and are free to republish them in other publications as they desire.

We discontinued regular printing of our paper after the Summer 2022 edition, but we will print special issues on a case by case basis. The minimum copy count for printed papers is 50 copies.

Summer 2022 – Hope in the Highlands

Those with any familiarity with our missionary writing will remember the names of our two dear friends Jason and Sarah Sheets. Writer David Scott Fields II has had the privilege of being a part of their lives for over 20 years now, and in all that time the Sheets’ commitment to the Lord has always been undeniable. Jason and Sarah are currently serving as missionaries in Arequipa, Peru, and in June 2022, Mr. Fields had the opportunity to visit them and experience their ministry. This edition of The Believer’s Byline, “Hope in the Highlands“, chronicles his Peruvian adventure and provides a firsthand look at the ministry of the Sheets, several of their friends, and Iglesia Biblica Cristiana – Ciudad de Dios.

In this special edition of The Believers Byline, we share the stories of four families who have participated in the ministry of adoption.

This edition of The Believer’s Byline highlights several missionary groups, both national and international, including a firsthand visit by the author to Costa Rica and a check-in with the ministry of the Sheets family.

Spring 2015 – Missions Monitor

In this exciting issue of The Believer’s Byline we celebrate the departure of the Sheets family to language school in Costa Rica, introduce a new teaching ministry in the Philippines, hear a beautiful story of adoption, see Cambodia through a photographer’s lens, check in with the Hostetters at Victory Bible Camp of Alaska, and visit Uganda and missionary Rachel Dunaway.
