For the last couple of days I have been watching several documentaries about dinosaurs from a biblical perspective. I have never bought the evolutionist standpoint and have always believed at some point men and dinosaurs coexisted. The evidence for such is amazing. Perhaps most notable is that the term dinosaur was not used before 1841. Before that they were called – dragons! Perhaps not the magical creatures we equate with that term, but definitely giant terrible lizards. And there are stories of such beasts dwelling among men from cultures across the world going back centuries, even millennia. There are even stories of thousands of people having encounters with or sighting water based creatures with the appearance of dinosaurs up to our modern day. Now true, I personally have not encountered such creatures, so it is difficult to be sure of the authenticity of these reports. However, I sat up and took a little closer notice when the speaker said, “Off the coast of Jupiter, Florida…there have been many sightings there.” Well, I guess I moved to Jurassic Park, and I think I’ll have a bit of an spooky feeling the next time I go in the ocean. Who needs to worry about sharks when you’ve got dinosaurs?
