Yesterday someone posted a video of Irma’s devastating winds ripping a poor island village apart. Yet in the forefront of that video was a tree, and even as it was battered to and fro my eyes landed on a single leaf. That little leaf, defying the very force of the storm, would not let go of its branch. If God will give so much strength to a little leaf that made no preparations for the storm, I can take hope!
“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for you, Lord, are with me.”
Psalm 23:4 NASB
