If you are finding yourself discouraged by the fact that our world is a horrific mess and there are so many who call good evil and evil good, let this encourage you – Despite the evil of the day, God has also ordained that this be the time when people have more biblical access than any other time in history.

Think of it; anyone can walk around with dozens of scripture translations and a full biblical reference library in their pocket! Many Christians already do! Can any other time in history make such a boast? The smartphone gives us instant access to the word of God whenever we want. Let us not take that for granted! For such unrestricted and instant access to the word of God makes this generation a strong contender for the most blessed generation in all of history. And we are to know, believe, obey, and share that word as we live our lives in this crooked and perverse generation.

So whether it is a paper Bible or a Bible App, open it up and fill yourself with the words of eternal life. For, “…the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever” (1 John 2:17).
