Fun fact most probably don’t remember – today is the 10th anniversary of December 21, 2012. That is the day the world was supposed to end according to the Mayan Calendar (at least according to the most popular interpretation). 10 years later and we are still here. I am very glad the end times are in God’s hands and that humanity will never be able to pinpoint the day or time by any human calendar or formula until after it happens. The Lord is just too smart for us. As it is written in Isaiah 55:8-9, “’For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,’ declares the Lord. ‘For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.’”

Even so, we are commanded to always be prepared for that Day, so let our prayer never fail to be “Come, Lord Jesus, come!”
