A challenge for the person who believes themselves to be a true Christian. Go back over your last several months of social media posts. As you do, ask yourself, “Is what I have been posting edifying to other believers and/or will it lead an unbeliever closer to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ?” Obviously there will be many neutral posts, but if you are a Christian and your posts unnecessarily discourage other believers or cause unbelievers to view Christ and Christians with contempt, it is best not to post them. Every social media post should be thought through before posting, but those of believers should always come with an advanced level of prudence and care.
